We are pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Bertrand Cosson as the Scientific Director of the iPOP-UP platform (Integrative Platform for ‘Omics’ Projects at Université Paris Cité).
This appointment marks a new chapter in the development of iPOP-UP, a platform dedicated to analyzing complex data from omics approaches and structural biology. With its high-performance computing cluster, iPOP-UP provides tools and personalized support to help research teams at Université Paris Cité process, analyze, and leverage their scientific data.
As Scientific Director, Bertrand Cosson will oversee the coordination of the platform’s activities while strengthening collaborations between laboratories and supporting researchers in their bioinformatics projects. A key priority will be to ensure the optimal use and accessibility of the iPOP-UP computing cluster to meet the growing needs of researchers.
This appointment aligns with a strategic initiative to expand iPOP-UP’s services, with enhanced support for the research units at Grands Moulins and a gradual opening to other structures interested in this shared service.
