Bioinfo club
The iPOP-UP BioInfo Club gathers scientists who want to discover some computational approaches and tools used in genomics, image and structural bioinformatics and to learn by practice on site. The iPOP-UP BioInfo Club includes Institut Jacques Monod (IJM), Epigenetics & Cell Fate unit (EPC), Unité de Biologie Fonctionnelle et Adaptative (BFA) and Institut Cochin.
Organizers of the iPOP-UP BioInfo Club
Yves Clément (IJM)
Bertrand Cosson (EPC)
Virginie Courtier (IJM)
Olivier Kirsh (EPC)
Nikos Konstantinides (IJM)
Samuel Murail (BFA)
Olivier Taboureau (BFA).
Please email Virginie Courtier or Bertrand Cosson if you have questions about the iPOP-UP BioInfo Club.
The iPOP-UP BioInfo Club meets about once a month on Tuesday from 12:30 to 13:30, mostly in François Jacob seminar room (Institut Jacques Monod, 15 rue Helene Brion 75013) or in room RH73 (Bâtiment Lamarck, 35 rue Hélène Brion 75013). Attending via zoom is possible for people working at Institut Cochin. Meetings are in English. A light snack is provided. For most sessions, please bring your drink and your laptop. It can be Linux, Mac or Windows. We will let you know in advance when it is a practical session, presentation or discussion.
The BioInfo Club sessions previously organized by Michael Lang (in 2014-2015), Virginie Courtier and colleagues (in 2011-2014 and 2018-2020) can be found here.

Sycomia: Advanced -omics analyses for translational research (Louis Chauvière)
Sycomia is a bioinformatics services company created by an ancient UPC post-doc. Sycomia develops comprehensive bioinformatics solutions to accelerate translational research in life sciences. We provide end-to-end services for single-cell, spatial, and multi-omics data analysis with streamlined workflows and robust analytical pipelines. A particular focus will be presented on our circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) developments: variant detection, tumor burden monitoring, and predictive algorithms for therapeutic monitoring. We bridge the gap between complex -omics data and research applications, supporting research teams in translating discoveries into actionable insights that advance scientific understanding and therapeutic development.
