iPOP-UP at glance
iPOP-UP supports researchers in analyzing complex omics data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics) by offering training, personalized technical support, and access to a high-performance computing cluster. By bringing together expertise, iPOP-UP enhances collaboration between teams for innovative integrative biology projects, while strengthening the bioinformatics community at Université Paris Cité.

Community
iPOP-UP serves as a unifying force in the bioinformatics landscape at Université Paris Cité. Whether by assisting with specific challenges, connecting you with future collaborators, or organizing bioinformatics events, iPOP-UP fosters engagement and collaboration. One such initiative is the Bioinformatics Meetings, open to everyone, where the focus is on bioinformatics itself rather than the research requiring its application. If you’d like to participate or have suggestions for events, feel free to contact us!
High-Performance Cluster
Some bioinformatics studies demand far greater computational power than what standard laboratory computers can provide. To meet this need, iPOP-UP has partnered with RPBS to establish a high-performance computing cluster.
Ribosome Profiling Analyses
The iPOP-UP and Genom’ic platforms combine their expertise to offer a comprehensive ribosome profiling service, an advanced technology for studying mRNA translation at the genomic level. This approach identifies active coding regions and reveals regulatory mechanisms of translation, providing unique insights for research projects.
- Genom’ic handles the final stages of sample preparation, leveraging proven protocols and cutting-edge technical expertise.
- iPOP-UP supports the bioinformatics analysis of the generated data, including alignment, identification of translated regions, and functional interpretation.
Together, the two platforms provide personalized guidance, from project design to result interpretation. This collaboration is ideal for research teams exploring the translatome and translation mechanisms. For more information or to start a project, contact us!
